

READY, SET, ROOSEVELT!
We are excited to have you start your college journey with us at Roosevelt University! Ready, Set, Roosevelt is your way to stay connected and prepared as you transition to life at Roosevelt University. This program will help you stay engaged throughout the spring and summer, offering the resources and support you need to tackle any challenges before you arrive on campus.
With a structured plan in place, Ready, Set, Roosevelt helps ensure you're ready to succeed and prevent any hurdles that could delay your start. The program is mainly online, with opportunities to join in-person campus events as well.
In addition to Ready, Set, Roosevelt, you will receive information this summer to RSVP for a New Student Orientation session, both zoom and in person options will be available.

- Chicago is our CampusDiscover how Roosevelt University leverages its prime location in the heart of Chicago and how YOU will benefit. Learn to navigate the urban environment to maximize your college experience. Connect with nearby opportunities that complement your academic journey.
- Using your NetIDYou will gain a clear understanding of how to access and use your NET ID to log into various university platforms. Additionally, you will learn how to get tech support at the university when needed.
- Academic AdvisingGet essential knowledge on how to meet with academic advisors, search for courses using the Course Finder tool, and view your schedule. Understand the advising and registration process to help you plan your academic path efficiently.
- Financial Aid ServicesFinancial Aid Services offers support for everything from completing the FAFSA to navigating special financial circumstances. Students can access help in person, via email, phone, or drop-in Zoom hours without an appointment. The office also provides guidance on scholarships and other funding options.
- Dean of Students ResourcesDiscover campus resources provided by the Dean of Students (DOS), such as the food and hygiene pantry, loaner laptops, and wellness services. Learn about the importance of maintaining both physical and mental health during college, along with how to access campus-based support services.
- Academic ResourcesLearn about the academic support services available on campus, including the Learning Commons for tutoring, study help, and disability services, the Library for research and study materials, and the STEM Center for science and technology-related academic assistance.
- Dorm Life vs. CommutingExplore the support available for both on-campus residents and commuters. Learn the benefits of living on campus: being close to classes, social opportunities, and access to campus resources. And discover the support and resources the university provides for students who live off-campus.
- Career ServicesYou will learn how to access career services and take advantage of resources for finding part-time jobs, internships, and career opportunities. You will also gain insight into building their resumes, preparing for interviews, and networking with potential employers to launch their careers.
- Getting EngagedYou will explore ways to get involved on campus through various student clubs and organizations. You will learn about the importance of extracurricular activities in building leadership skills, making connections, and enhancing your overall college experience.
- One Week Countdown!Begin final preparations for the start of the semester, including how to use Laker Connect to stay updated on events and activities. Learn about Welcome Week events, move-in procedures, and how to engage with the university community during your first week on campus.New!
