Davide Comai: Discovering Heller’s Many Opportunities as an International Business Student
Davide Comai is an international student-athlete from Italy who graduated Spring 2025 with a double major in Finance and Real Estate. He will begin the MBA program with a concentration in Data Analytics in August 2025.
Davide has always been interested in business but was unsure which major to choose when starting the BSBA degree. After taking a few classes, he realized a passion for finance. He enjoyed the idea of making decisions that can shape the future and have a real impact. After one semester studying finance, he added Real Estate as a second major because he wanted to apply financial skills to a practical field.
Davide completed several internships while earning the BSBA degree. He said the summer 2025 experience at Banner Real Estate Group was most influential when he learned how the commercial side of real estate works. He had the chance to apply learned skills and gain experience that helped during continued studies. He is very excited for an upcoming internship at CIBC Bank during the summer of 2025, where he will be working as an analyst. His internship experiences help develop business understanding from differing perspectives.
Davide said that Roosevelt University gave him the chance to study in one of the best cities in the world and offered great support throughout his journey. Being able to double major and take a variety of courses helped him gain the skills needed to enter the workforce with confidence. Connecting with professors and classmates helped ensure that he was on the right path. He learned about every aspect of business—from accounting to management, marketing and finance. Every class has taught something valuable, both personally and professionally.
Soccer was also been a big part of Davide’s life. It is what brought him to the U.S. as a student-athlete, and he feels proud to be part of the men’s soccer team at Roosevelt. It allows him to combine a love for sports and academics every day.
Outside of soccer, Davide is involved in organizations related to finance and real estate. He is a NAIOP Foundation Scholar and a member of Roosevelt’s Investment Club. These groups give him the chance to learn, network and grow—a crucial part of being in the business world.
